Frequently Asked Questions

Retreatants must be out of high school and 18 years of age by the date of the retreat.

You do not have to be Catholic to make the retreat, but please have an open mind and an open heart as Catholic theology will be stressed.

We ask for $35 to help cover the cost of food for the retreat. However, if you are financially unable to pay this fee, please do not let it allow you to miss the retreat. Everyone is welcome.

Anything you may need for the restroom: Towels, soap, shampoo, toothbrush, etc. You will also need a sleeping bag and an air mattress if you are so inclined. Things you may want to bring are a Bible, rosary, prayer books, etc.

Sign-in for the retreat begins at 6 pm on Friday and the retreat itself begins at 7 pm. It usually ends around 4 pm on Sunday afternoon, but the schedule is not fixed and may run later.

Men stay at the Baptist Collegiate Ministry next door. Women stay at the Catholic Student Center.

From I-10, take Exit 80, the Crowley - Eunice exit, and head south on LA Hwy 13 (Take a right if coming from Lafayette, a left if coming from Lake Charles). Keep straight for approximately 16 miles.

Once in Eunice, take a left at LA-3123/Tiger Ln. There will be a small sign saying LSU-Eunice, a turning lane, and on the right a subdivision called Acadian Acres.

Stay on Tiger Ln for about 1.9 miles, then take a left at the first stop sign. Take the first right (about 0.4 miles) on LSUE Campus Dr. Follow the road for around another 0.4 miles and take a right. It will be the first right after the baseball fields. The Catholic Student Center is the first building on the left. Parking is both in front of and in the gravel parking lot immediately after the Center.
